November & December at Roger Williams Park Zoo

Roger Williams Park Zoo and is open all year long, and the fall and winter months are a wonderful time to experience everything the Zoo has to offer! The animals are active – enjoying a reprieve from the summer heat, the Wetlands Trail reopens for festive nature walks, and special events and education opportunities continue through the end of the calendar year.

Santa is coming to town during two magical weekends at the Carousel Village! On November 26 & 27, and December 3 & 4, the young and young at heart are invited to enjoy a special moment with the man in red. Don’t forget to bring your own camera to capture the magic! Adults visit free and there is a nominal admission fee for children and babies.

Burn off some of that pre-holiday excitement with a school trip to the Zoo!  Book an educational adventure and select the perfect program to complement your students’ curriculum. Staying put? Bring the wonder of the natural world right into your classroom with a standards-based and age-appropriate Zoomobile program.

Please note, the Zoo will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
