Joyce's Jungle Summer camp opportunities are worth it!
Nature camps provide opportunities for children to explore and learn about the natural world. They can discover different plants, animals, ecosystems, and geological features, fostering a sense of curiosity and appreciation for nature.
By spending time in nature, children develop a deeper understanding of the environment and the importance of conservation.

Preschool Camps |
Growing Gardeners
June 25,26,27 9 am-Noon
Digging in the soil can be so fun, but it can also be a sign of a Growing Gardener! Campers will learn how a garden is grown and plant their own to take home. Each camper will also help in the planting of the centers gardens to help enhance it for the local wildlife. Games, crafts, and nature walks will enhance the learning experience for all. Please plan for the weather. Pack a water and snack to enjoy while at camp. $82 for SK Residents, $92 non SK Residents
Nature Book Explorers
June 25,26,27 1 pm-4 pm
Sneak in some summer reading with a twist! This camp will be a combo of nature inspired readings with creative crafts. Explore books with hands on animal time, taking in the trails and exploring nature! Each camper will receive the books we read, a special reading buddy and seek out the book in real life (safely on our nature trails and ponds edge)! We will be outside, so please dress for the weather. LIVE animals will be present to enhance the books we are reading. Dress to make a mess! Sneakers are required every day of camp! Snacks and a water bottle are needed every day.

Come join us for a fun packed mini camp with the friends from Joyce’s Jungle. From scales to tails, and fluff and fur, each day will be filled with hands on animal time. Explore the ponds edge to observe some local friends, as well as on the nature trails. Everyone will create animal crafts to enhance the animal experience! Dress to make a mess! Sneakers are required every day of camp! Water shoes or a change of shoes are needed on pond day (Weather is the main factor) Snacks & water bottles are needed every day.

Animals inspire us in so many ways, one awesome way is in our art! This camp will truly be animal inspired as we create crafts and artwork for and with them! The centers animals’ ambassadors will inspire us daily! We will also enjoy walks on the trails, snacking and playing outside, letting nature inspire us in all we do! Pack a water, snack & sunblock to camp every day.

Do you like animals? Do you ever wonder how doctors and others take care of animals?Then come and learn at camp!Practice listening to heartbeats and more with some cool hands on activities with live animals from Joyce’s Jungle. Ever wonder how the little creatures we see in nature start out? We will learn all about the journeys taken by butterflies, lady bugs and more! Live specimens and activities will enhance this camp! We will travel to the pond and collect some specimens, then explore the trails searching for evidence of nature’s little friends. Dress to make a mess! Sneakers are required every day of camp and water shoes/flip slops or change of shoes are needed for the pond! A snack, water bottle and sunscreen are needed everyday.

Welcome to the JUNGLE! If your child is an animal-lover than this is the camp for them! Campers will explore the trails around the beautiful Tri-Pond Park as well as the ponds edge. (There will be NO swimming in the pond!) Every day, we will have an animal friend or two and an animal-related craft and activity to enhance the day's learning. Special guests and their animals ensure a good time! Sneakers are required every day of camp and water shoes, or a change in shoes are needed on pond day (a note will go home the first day of camp) A water bottle, lunch and snack are needed. Please dress to make a mess!!

Get your Jurassic pass today! We will “journey” all the way back to the days of the dinosaurs to learn cool facts! Who was the smallest, tallest, LARGEST??? Come and “dig up” some fun facts on these prehistoric animals. Make your own dino eggs, search for fossils, and more! Each day will be packed with fun, facts and fossils! Dress to make a mess! Sneakers are required every day of camp, for we will explore the trails weather permitting! Snacks, a lunch and a water bottle are needed every day.

Rec Dance Camp
Aug 13-16 9-3
Lets Dance!Each camper is asked to bring their own ballet/jazz shoes and tap shoes; you will not be able to dance in bare feet.Please look around local consignment stores to find a pair or two. Campers will learn routines to be performed on the final day of camp. Breaks will be provided for snack, lunch and craft time to keep the fun alive. Dress appropriately for movement/weather and hair should be up with bangs secure off the face. All campers must have completed a year of elementary school or permission from the instructor. We will take advantage of good weather when we can, so pack sunscreen as well. Each camper will need snacks, lunch & plenty of water every day!

Color Guard Camp
Aug 19-23 9-3
Come join us for a fun packed week of color guard!Color Guard is the “Sport of the Arts!”This camp will provide daily classes in equipment and movement techniques, helping the campers to learn new tricks and strengthen existing skills. Some games and crafts will break up the day and keep the fun alive! Mini routines will be taught and performed on the final day in the “Showcase” which is open to all friends and family with proper protocols in place! Each camper needs to bring a water bottle, snacks and a lunch. Camp will be held in and outdoors, weather permitting so please also pack sunscreen. Good sneakers are needed daily, and dance shoes (ballet or jazz) are encouraged but not forced for the performance floor.
