Every four years (or so), a group of hard-working volunteers from three schools in the town of Narragansett join efforts to raise money for the students in the district. Thou covid placed a speed bump in their path, this year's event will be a night to remember.

A Night Under the Stars
This exquisite Gala Event, set on the beach of the famous Narragansett Pier, Beach Blanket Bidding, aka BBB, is where one can dine, dance, and be merry with friends. Yet the real reason all attend is to outbid their fellow patron! After all Beach Blanket Bidding is a non-profit fundraiser for the students of the Narragansett School System.

Some past auction items have been private cruises, hotel getaways, and relaxing spa packages; there is even talk of "Mayor for the Day!" Local businesses donate everything from gift cards to summer camps, from romantic dinners for two to automotive services!
