The beach season begins at Westerly’s Misquamicut Beach. The 14th Annual Misquamicut SPRINGFEST weekend follows the incredible success of the past decade of festivals, which attracted over 10,000-15,000 visitors each from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and nearby states.
Misquamicut Springfest kicks off a jam-packed weekend of live music, rides, great local food trucks and more on Friday, May 10th at 5pm. Music by A Short Walk to Pluto and John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band rock all night Friday. From then, until 5pm Sunday, May 12th, Springfest features high-gear entertainment including a Saturday Night headline set from The Undaunted Professor Harp Band, a Ferris Wheel ride, and activities for the whole family.
Besides a full line-up of entertainment including Kiefer’s Martial Arts Demo, the Springfest features FANTASTIC MOUTH-WATERING FOOD TO FEAST ON, with Food Truck Row Carnival Fare and a cornucopia of delights, a chock-full midway of rides and games including Ferris Wheel, and a Classic Car Show with “The Doc” Saturday from 11-3 presented by 102.3FM The Wolf.
A world class carnival featuring spectacular rides, carnival games and panoramic views of Block Island from the Ferris Wheel. It’s family fun for all ages. Car show, Martial Arts Demo and music headliners perform all weekend, over a dozen fantastic food vendors, 50 plus commercial vendors, Beer and Wine Tent.

Admission is $12. Parking is FREE. Children under 7 are free.

Over two dozen food vendors will be on hand to serve local festival favorites from chowder to sausage and peppers, fried dough, Greek and Italian delights, Del’s, ice cream, BBQ, kettle corn, pizza and seafood dishes including catfish! It’s a virtual Food Truck Rodeo! In addition, dozens of crafters and commercial vendors will sell their wares. Kids can enjoy a Karate Demo, rides, cotton candy, games as well as face painting while adults can enjoy shopping for crafts, candles, honey, crystals, handbags, t-shirts, jewelry, bamboo clothes, and house wares.
