St. Patrick's Day, celebrated on March 17th, is a cultural and religious holiday that honors St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.  The holiday is known for parades, wearing green, enjoying Irish food and drinks, and celebrating all things Irish. People also often wear shamrocks or clover to symbolize the day.
