What are we doing? |
When searching for the best places in town, we often ask our friends, "Where's your favorite...?" Well, that is precisely what we are doing! We are asking all of you to help us find your favorite places around Southern RI!
Here's your chance to nominate all the local businesses that you love, where your family feels welcomed, where your kids smile the most, where you always find what you need, and who you recommend to others!
Nominate your local favorites in as many categories as possible, and if you need to, add one!!
We're launching the 2025 Family Favorite Awards for Macaroni Kid Southern RI, and we need your help!

We've compiled a list of categories and want your input on who should be in each.
Nominate your favorite businesses now! Nominations will be open from May 1, 2025, until May 31,2025;
Then, we'll gather all the nominations and start voting on June 8, 2025.
Voting will be open until June 30,2025.
We'll announce all the winners in a featured article!
*All businesses must be locally owned in the Southern RI area or service the area.

Vote in at least 5 categories, and you will be automatically entered to win a
$25 Gift Card to a local business of your choice as a "Thank you!" from us!

Plus, when our winners are announced,
you get a list of GREAT local businesses that parents/guardians like you love!
*We are giving a $25 gift card to one randomly picked subscriber who nominate in at least five (5) categories.

The top business in each category will win a Macaroni KID Family Favorite Award Package.
The winning business in each category will receive a free one-year listing in the Macaroni KID business directory,
a digital badge to use on their website and social media pages,
— plus the honor of knowing local families consider them one of the best!
The business with the most overall votes
will win a three (3) month advertising package!

RULES
- Submit only one nomination ballot per email address; please nominate businesses in at least five categories.
- To nominate a business, you must be a Macaroni KID Southern RI email subscriber. To sign up, click here.
- Votes with invalid email addresses will not count and may disqualify the nominee from winning. It is against policy to place a vote using any email address other than your own.
- Only the top 5 nominations in each category will be selected for voting.
- Macaroni KID Southern RI families will then vote on their favorites, and one winner from each category will be selected.
- Macaroni KID Southern RI will make attempts to confirm AND validate each email to ensure authenticity.
- Macaroni KID Southern RI reserves the right to eliminate votes that are deemed invalid or have interfered with the fair administration of this contest.
This gift card contest will run from June 8, 2025, till June 30, 2025, at 11:59 pm EST. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to reply and claim the prize. You MUST be a Macaroni KID Southern RI subscriber and 18 or older to enter. If you are not a subscriber and submit the nomination form, you will be automatically subscribed. This is a Macaroni KID contest taking place on the Macaroni KID Southern RI website and newsletter.
