Description

Double Ender Celebrations, Inc. is the non-profit group that manages the Block Island 4th of July celebration.

The theme for this year is "Your Favorite American Hero" and we invite everyone to join the festivities, either by participating in the parade or lining up along the route to watch the show. Local businesses, organizations, families, or individuals are welcome to sign up early and be a part of our celebration by filling out our participant form. Arrive at The Oar with your float on July 4th at 10 a.m. to secure your spot in the lineup.

The parade route runs along West Side Road, starting at The Oar and ending at the roundabout at the statue of Rebecca, passing through Ocean Avenue, Dodge Street, and Water Street. A small committee will judge the parade and award prizes for grand prize, first place, second place, and honorable mention in the categories of business or organization, and family or individual.
