Scientific Illustration at the Aquarium is a captivating and educational day experience designed for young aspiring artists and marine enthusiasts in grades 6 to 8.
This unique class blends art and science to foster a deep appreciation for marine life while honing the students' artistic skills. Students will learn about the history of scientific illustration, the adaptations and biology of one of Mystic’s most beloved animal, the beluga whale, and create observational sketches alongside these animals.
After spending a day at the Aquarium, students will bring home their own Mystic masterpieces!
